Posting Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a per diem Research Assistant for the department of Pharmacology at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Under the direction of the MBS Course Director, the candidate will serve to complement and enhance teaching in Physiology at RWJMS and SGS in Piscataway. Duties include proctoring exams and team-based learning exercises during the 2026-2027 academic year. Outside of proctoring, this position will help to record and post lectures for SGS Graduate courses.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

  • Proctor three exams to be held in the RWJMS Main Lecture Hall in the early evening of the Fall 2026 semester.
  • Proctor three team-based learning (TBL) exercises to be held in the RWJMS Main Lecture Hall in the early evening of the Fall 2026 semester.
  • Assist with recording and posting lectures.

FLSA Nonexempt Grade 99H Salary Details $30.00/hour is budgeted for this position. Minimum Salary 15.92 Mid Range Salary 75.00 Maximum Salary 150.000 Offer Information

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Successful completion of a graduate degree (or currently enrolled in graduate studies) in a related science with experience in all teaching and lab aspects of Physiology.

  • Physical Demands: There are no specific physical demands, but must have ability to walk up and down auditorium stairs.
