    As a subject-matter expert and mentor, the individual would support faculty, staff, and student research across programs and enhance the DrPH program''s emphasis on applied, practice-based public health. The position would also advance community-engaged scholarship and the Department''s focus on Gulf South Health & Policy research by partnering with organizations in Louisiana and beyond to use data and evidence to improve family health and well-being. Finally, the hire would contribute to the department''s long-term growth by fostering interdisciplinary collaborations and leading efforts to secure external funding through competitive grant proposals. This position will facilitate collaboration across SPHTM and the broader Tulane community to advance multidisciplinary research, teaching, and service focused on family health and well-being. The hire will partner with faculty and trainees across departments within SPHTM, including Health Policy and Management, as well as with colleagues in the School of Social Work, the Newcomb Institute, and the Law School. Through these collaborations, the individual will contribute methodological expertise in policy evaluation and advanced quantitative analysis, support the development of competitive grant applications, and help lead interdisciplinary research teams. The position will strengthen existing cross-school partnerships, expand opportunities for collaborative scholarship and student mentorship, and enhance Tulane''s capacity to generate evidence that informs policies and programs affecting families and communities.
