    Job Summary: Genesis Global Group (GGG) is a consortium of entities and institutes, in the field of molecular biology, medicinal chemistry and biotechnology. Our mission is to improve the patient's quality of life by linking basic science and the development of diagnostic and pre-clinical treatments.The Institute for Biomarker Research (IBR), a division of GGG, is dedicated to the innovation of multi-variant-based personal diagnostics to assess disease evaluation, progression, regression, and patient stratification in order to establish a targeted, pharmacogenomic-based treatment approach tailored to every patient's specific clinical situation.IBR is currently seeking a Research Associate. This position is in-person, in Hamilton, NJ.

    Responsibilities:

    Design and validate microbiological and molecular diagnostic assays.Design and perform experiments and analyze data using diverse procedures and laboratory equipment.Properly record details of the procedures used and data collected; create reports to CLIA/CAP standards.Conduct laboratory tests according to equipment specifications and standard operation procedures (SOPs).Perform reagent preparation and proper handling of biological samples in a BSL 2 setting.Collaborate with Reference Laboratories and the Clinical Laboratory division for projects.Routinely participate in meetings and scientific journal article discussions.

    Job Qualifications: General Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's) required

    Bachelor's degree in relevant field is required. Strong background in Molecular Biology and Genetics is a plus.The ideal candidate would be well versed in aseptic, microbiological, molecular, and cellular biology techniques. Experience with CAP accredited laboratory practices and cGLP is a plus.Experience in bacterial, fungal, viral, and parasitic pathogenesis, and culture is desirable.Experience in test development, troubleshooting, optimization, and validation, particularly qPCR, would be desirable.
