The Markey Cancer Center is seeking a Research Associate Senior to join the Patient-Oriented and Population Sciences Shared Resource (POP SR). This high-level position plays a key role in supporting cancer research by partnering with investigators to coordinate and implement a diverse portfolio of clinical and population-based research studies. Primary responsibilities include participant recruitment, enrollment, retention, and follow-up; project coordination and day-to-day study management; data collection and quality assurance; regulatory and IRB compliance; REDCap database management; and preparation of study reports and other research documentation. The Research Associate Senior will collaborate closely with principal investigators, clinicians, research staff, and data management teams to ensure the successful execution of research projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and participant care. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and collaborative, with excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. Success in this role requires the ability to effectively engage with diverse participant populations - including healthy volunteers, patients, cancer survivors, caregivers, and pediatric populations - and to manage multiple research projects in a fast-paced academic research environment.
