The Department of Radiology has an outstanding opportunity for a Research Coordinator to join their team.
About this Opportunity
Reporting to Nam Phuong Nguyen, UW ADRC Biomarker Operations Manager, the Research Coordinator is responsible for performing basic research duties to support ongoing projects in the Integrated Brain Imaging Center (IBIC) related to aging and neurodegenerative disease. This includes utilizing neuroimaging, neuropsychology, and/or neuroscience techniques and procedures to collect and evaluate data for the lab.
This position is located primarily at the Integrated Brain Imaging Center at UW Montlake Campus (some travel between sites will be necessary by UW Health Services or other shuttles), and operates primarily Monday-Friday schedule at 8AM-5PM, but it is not always fixed and workload does vary. The incumbent¹s first responsibility is to complete tasks rather than keep to a fixed schedule. Flexibility in schedule and intensity of work is necessary. This position is eligible for occasional telework.

About the UW Alzheimer's Disease Research Center
The UW Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) is one of 42 Alzheimer's research resource centers funded by the National Institute on Aging. ADRCs are major sources of discovery into the nature of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias and into the development of more effective approaches to prevention, diagnosis, care, and therapy. The UW ADRC contributes to the development of shared resources that support dementia-relevant research, and coordinates research efforts with other NIH-funded programs and investigators.
The ADRC research team links the Seattle community with information and opportunities to participate in clinical trials and studies of Alzheimer's disease and related disorders.

$55,944.00 annual

$69,600.00 annual
