The Research Coordinator III supports the Centralized Assessment Entity (CAE) by leading fidelity and monitoring activities to ensure consistent program implementation and compliance with established Texas Rising Star standards. This role is responsible for analyzing and interpreting program data to assess performance, identify trends, and highlight areas for continuous improvement. The Research Coordinator extracts, manages, and maintains data from multiple sources and translates findings into clear, actionable insights. Other responsibilities include developing data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to support decision-making, stakeholder communication, and statewide reporting requirements. In collaboration with internal teams and partners, the incumbent monitors program implementation, evaluates data quality, and provides recommendations to strengthen processes and improve overall program quality. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data clearly and accessibly, along with knowledge of the Texas Rising Star program and its standards.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data analysis, pivot tables, formulas)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Knowledge of Texas Rising Star standards and program requirements
• High attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience supporting program monitoring, evaluation, or quality improvement efforts
Position Summary:
Under minimal supervision, assists with human subject research project conduct and management, including participant recruitment and data collection, entry, management, and analysis. Assists with research project logistics, maintaining records, preparing reports, and meeting research milestones and deadlines.

Certification/Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field required. Master's Degree preferred May substitute required education with equivalent years of experience beyond the minimum experience requirement.
Minimum Experience:
5 years of relevant experience required.
May substitute required experience with equivalent years of education beyond the minimum education requirement.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
