About the Position
The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) is seeking a Research/Data Analyst I to support data-driven decision-making within the Parks Bureau. This position is responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing data related to park operations, visitation, occupancy, revenue, customer trends, and other key performance measures. The analyst will develop reports and dashboards, evaluate operational and financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations that support planning and management decisions. The position will also assist with financial feasibility studies, capital improvement projects, budgeting, and long-range planning initiatives. By working closely with Parks Bureau leadership, this position will help improve operational efficiency, support future development projects, and enhance the overall visitor experience across Mississippis state parks.
