Job Description and Duties
THIS POSITION MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR A HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE. THE AMOUNT OF TELEWORK IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE DEPARTMENT AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS BUSINESS NEEDS ARISE.
The Employment Training Panel (ETP) is seeking a Research Data Analyst II (RDA II) in the Planning and Research Unit within the Research and Analytics Division.
Reporting to the Planning and Research Manager, the RDA II participates on critical research projects for the ETP and performs methodological research activities for the ETP's Annual Report, Strategic Plan, and other legislatively mandated or ad hoc reports. The RDA II will analyze complex data sets, leverage artificial-intelligence powered analytics, perform strategic content outreach, prepare statistical reports and visual aids, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for executive leadership and external stakeholders to support the ETP's mission and program effectiveness.
This is a great opportunity for a RDA II who enjoys independent analytical work, collaborating with subject matter experts, improving reporting tools and methodologies, and producing accurate, useful, and leadership-ready data products that support the ETP mission.

This position is eligible to participate in a hybrid telework schedule. Participation in telework is subject to the Department's policies and supervisor's approval.

Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for hours in the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) per month.
