The Fixed Income division is headquartered / located primarily in Merrimack, New Hampshire, one hour north of Boston.
The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Fixed Income Research team as a Research Data Specialist with a particular focus on municipal bonds and credit research. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team supporting investment decision-making across Fidelity’s fixed income platform.
Research Data Specialists work closely with analysts and other members of the investment team to support various aspects of the research process, including:
Depending on team needs and candidate strengths, responsibilities may include assisting with data and information requests from research analysts on issuers under coverage, working with database architectures to organize and present information used in the investment process, utilizing various programming languages to develop tools for the research team and the analysis of the money market approved list and holdings data.
Research Data Specialists will contribute to research outputs and investment recommendations made by research analysts which are used by portfolio managers across the division and the broader Fidelity organization.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
