Winthrop Position Title Research/Instructional Support Assistant CLES 26F Job Purpose
The Research/Instructional Support Graduate Assistant, hired through the Department of Counseling, Leadership, and Educational Studies, will provide support to faculty in the areas of research and instruction across the CLES, Core, and C&P departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with faculty on research projects by providing assistance with scholarly tasks such as literature searches, information synthesis, and the preparation of documents for submission for publication and/or conference presentations
- Assist faculty with data collection and analysis using tools such as Qualtrics
- Provide support to faculty for specialized instructional initiatives/projects
- Provide support to faculty in day-to day class preparation
- Provide support to faculty with course assessment needs (all assessments must be anonymous)
Qualifications
- Web based searching skills including advanced search techniques
- Literature review skills
- Ability to write briefs on complex literature
- Database management and skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Problem solving skills

- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
