    Job Description

    The Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech with Professor Yan Chen seeks a part-time developer to join our research initiative. The chosen candidate will assist in the development of a web-based learning platform that enhances in-person programming instruction by integrating AI-driven behavioral analysis. Responsibilities include implementing code management techniques, aiding in the real-time monitoring of student interactions, and working with AI tools designed to offer insights into classroom cognitive dynamics.

    Required Qualifications

    - Strong programming skills relative to education level
    - Prior experience with JavaScript/HTML/CSS
    - Passion for improving education methodologies.
    - The ability to meet deadlines and schedules
    - Project management skills
    - Critical thinking skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Familiarity with educational technology or AI
    - Experience with large language models
    - Experience working in a collaborative environment
