Position SummaryThe Morgridge College of Education is hiring adjunct instructors for the 2025-2026 academic year to teach various graduate courses in the Research Methods and Statistics program. Courses offered each academic term will vary. More information about the types of courses to be taught can be found on the Registrar's Office schedule of classes at https://www.du.edu/registrar/course/scheduleofclasses.html. This posting will serve for multiple openings throughout the upcoming academic year.Essential FunctionsCourse Adjunct Faculty Responsibilities:Teach qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed methods courses in person or online once or twice a week (depending on the course)Create and maintain course Canvas containerHold office hours with students for 1-2 hours per weekAssign papers, exams, and other deliverables as appropriateGrade in a timely mannerParticipate in recruiting and informational events as neededRequired QualificationsPhD degree in education or a social science-related fieldPrevious teaching experience at the graduate levelPreferred QualificationsRelevant industry experiencesSuccessful scholarship recordWork ScheduleWhile the University's administrative offices are open Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas.
