Research Nurse
UT MD Anderson is a leading institution focused on cancer care, research, education, and prevention. The Research Nurse position within the Department of Genitourinary Medical Oncology plays a vital role in supporting clinical research focused to advancing the treatment and prevention of genitourinary cancers through innovative clinical trials and patient-centered care.
UT MD Anderson bases its clinical care on cutting-edge research into the biology of genitourinary tumors, helping develop treatments tailored to individual patients. The Research Nurse collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, investigators, and sponsors to ensure the successful conduct of research studies. The Research Nurse supports patient care, clinical trial operations, and protocol compliance while contributing to improved outcomes for patients. The Research Nurse is essential to advancing research discoveries that promote survival and quality of life.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, and Basic Life Support (BLS), and experience applying professional nursing expertise in a research-focused clinical environment. Candidates who demonstrate strong clinical judgment, patient education skills, protocol management experience, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams will be well suited for this role.
The salary range for this position is Minimum $77,500/annually - Midpoint $97,000/annually - Maximum $116,500/annually
The typical work schedule is days, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
