The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Research Nurse II for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Grayslake, IL . Details for the position are as follows:
Job Title: Research Nurse II (JP 35109) Location: Grayslake, IL – 100% Onsite Pay Rate: $43–$46/hour Duration: TBD Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; training follows the same schedule
Support execution of Phase I clinical research studies under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), with primary responsibility for research participant safety and nursing care.
Review study protocols and informed consent forms, identify potential issues, and ensure study-related activities are performed according to protocol requirements and applicable SOPs.
Perform nursing assessments and support the recruitment, screening, eligibility determination, and consenting of healthy volunteers and/or patients participating in clinical studies.
Evaluate and document adverse events and manage safety reporting activities in accordance with study requirements.
Coordinate with Principal Investigators, study physicians, Recruiting/Screening, Data Systems, and other study personnel to support study-specific activities.
Review and assess clinical research data collected during study activities and support quality and compliance improvement initiatives.
Disburse investigational drugs and provide participant teaching regarding drug administration when required by study protocols.
Develop accurate source materials and ensure study procedures and documentation comply with protocol requirements.
Ensure completion of required protocol procedures, documentation, and study activities within the Phase I research unit.
Maintain compliance with CFR, ICH GCP, Corporate/Divisional policies, and departmental SOPs.
Education
Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Nursing education/degree from an accredited nursing program.
Clinical research nursing experience preferred.
