Overview
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center seeks a Post-Doctoral Fellow to work in the research laboratory of Dr. Caitlin Kowalski in the Department of Dermatology to study molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying cutaneous microbiome homeostasis, with a focus on skin-resident fungi. Experience with molecular genetics of non-model fungi and use of cell culture and animal models to study host-microbe interactions is preferred.
Responsibilities
Develop and oversee the implementation of experiments and project activities. Train and supervise project assistants, students and other partners and project staff as required. Monitor grants activities, funding and expenditures budgeted under contracts and purchased services. Oversee data management, reporting and project communication with partners, sponsors & governmental agencies as appropriate. Assist in proposal writing, and participates in development of papers and presentations. Performs other duties as required or assigned.
