The Academic Research Center for Hematology (ARCH) at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Temporary Clinical Research Coordinator to support clinical research focused primarily on sickle cell disease and other hematological disorders. This role plays a key part in the coordination and execution of investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored clinical studies.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Study Coordination: Coordinate day-to-day activities for clinical research studies, including study startup, participant visits, data collection, and study closeout.
  • Participant Engagement: Support recruitment, screening, informed consent, scheduling, and retention of research participants.
  • Data & Documentation: Maintain accurate study documentation, enter data into study databases, and ensure timely query resolution. Assist with study finance tracking
  • Regulatory & Compliance: Assist with IRB submissions, protocol amendments, adverse event reporting, and ensure compliance
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with investigators, clinical staff, sponsors, and research team members to support high-quality, patient-centered research.

Bachelor''s degree / 1-2 years of experience is preferred and Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent professional skills including punctuality, verbal communication, and reliability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and Interest in hematology research and patient-centered clinical studies.
