Required Education & Experience
Ph.D. or M.D. degree in a biomedical or related scientific field.
More than two years of hands-on laboratory experience in biomedical research, including work with animal models and cell culture systems.
Experience conducting independent research, analyzing data, and contributing to scientific publications.
Key Responsibilities
Independently design and conduct research projects focused on retina and retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) biology and disease.
Execute and complete studies outlined in the Principal Investigator's (PI's) funded research grants.
Generate high-quality research data to support peer-reviewed publications and future grant proposals.
Prepare, write, and submit scientific manuscripts for publication.
Collaborate with the PI and research team to advance ongoing research initiatives and support the overall goals of the laboratory.
