A successful candidate will lead a frequency control effort for multi-qubit processors based on superconducting qubits. The candidate is expected to independently drive cross-functional learning across multiple groups to understand and define metrics for Josephson junction tunability in the context of quantum gates, and will coordinate experiments at both elevated and cryogenic temperatures. The candidate is expected to disseminate results through impactful patents and represent IBM in professional meetings and societies.
