Position Summary
The Arbegast Materials Processing and Joining (AMP) Laboratory at South Dakota Mines invites applications for a Research Scientist I position. This is a part-time (50% effort), benefited position. The AMP Laboratory has a history of conducting both basic and applied research in the area of advanced materials processing and joining. AMP is home to a host of advanced processing equipment including friction stir welding, cold spray technology, and laser powder directed energy deposition.
