The Moritz lab at the Institute for Systems Biology (ISB) in Seattle, WA is seeking a ResearchScientist to join our interdisciplinary team under the direction of Dr. Ulrike Kusebauch toadvance translational proteomics research in infectious disease systems biology. Our focus willbe 1) to develop new proteomics approaches to detect post-translational modifications and toadvance proteomics workflows to accelerate discovery, and 2) to apply these approaches inareas of human cancer and infectious disease. Working within a highly collaborative,multidisciplinary environment, we have access to the largest collections of comprehensiveproteomics data sets incorporated into an extensive set of Atlas's to support the knowledge ofproteins and their modifications. Our team collaborates with systems biologists, data scientists,and domain experts in human and infectious disease at ISB and across the country. Theapplicant will be highly experienced in post-translational modification analysis by massspectrometry, protein expression and purification, and comprehensive data analysis ofmultiplexed datasets.
