Job Description

A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of device characterization and physics, particularly room-temperature testing of Josephson junctions for multi-qubit quantum processors. The candidate will design schemes to scale tuning throughput on a variety of devices intended for a cryogenic environment. They will devise novel characterization methodologies and architectures to enabling predictive yield-assessments on large-scale quantum processors. The candidate is expected to disseminate research results through impactful patents and publications and represent IBM in professional and academic meetings and societies.
