Research Site Clinical Staff

Responsible for assisting in the performance of clinical trials, including medication administration, dispensing, laboratory procedures, documentation whether in writing or electronic capture and completion of study visits, in accordance with the protocol and with protocol requirements.

Reviews each protocol and understands the requirements of any and all required timed tasks.

Possesses strong venipuncture skills and performs blood draws, vitals, ECGs and urine samples.

Performs laboratory processing of whole blood, plasma, urine and frozen samples.

Performs IV set up, subcutaneous administration and PO medication and reconstitutes, dilutes and accurately measures protocol medications.

Assists in cleaning procedures for patient rooms, bathrooms, kitchen area and other areas.

Participates in patient feeding, assisting with preparation of the bath chair, and patient activities of daily living as required.

Monitors patient status.

Completes written and/or electronic notations of patient protocol visits upon source documents as required.

Participates in Serious Adverse Event (SAE) and Adverse Event (AE) Reporting and related activities.

Participates in emergency protocols, per training.

Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail.

Performs other additional duties as requested.
