Job Summary:
The Research Project Coordinator is expected to work in-person at our offices in downtown Chicago at least 3 days per week. The position may also require some evening or weekend hours to maximize retention efforts for study participants who are unavailable during the regular workday.
Please note: Supervisor provides objectives, detailed deadlines and general instructions. Work is reviewed for technical accuracy and compliance with instructions, practice, policy and procedures. EE meets frequently with supervisor to obtain instructions regarding general phases of work and in some cases as to specific details.
Work Location Requirement
This role requires on-campus presence at least 3 days per week. Direct coordination with staff and study resources must occur on campus to ensure the integrity of study operations and participant engagement. Fully remote arrangements are not possible for this position.
Target hiring range for this position will be between $17.05 - $22.03 per hour. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Minimum Qualifications:
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelors or higher degree in a major such as social or health science or related; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
Must complete NUs IRB CITI training before interacting with any participants & must re-certify every 3 years.

Knowledge of basic computer skills, familiarity with Windows environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous work experience involving direct interaction with participants or clients.
Previous experience with HIV and/or LGBTQ community preferred.
Experience working in public health, psychology, and/or medical research.
