Job Title: Research Support Assistant Level IIGrade: 10Salary: $44,574 -$53,143The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is Seeking qualified candidates to fill a full-time position as a Research Assistant to contribute to the coordination of etiological and interventional research studies in individuals with schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders.Duties and Responsibilities:Creating data collection instruments and performing data entryInteracting with research subjects including calls for scheduling, taking vital signs measurements, phlebotomy (blood draws) and sample processing, performing on site urine pregnancy and drug tests, assisting with MRI scans and other study-specific proceduresPerforming general clerical work (file research documents, organize patient charts, obtain medical records)Assisting with grant, protocol and manuscript writingProviding direct assistance to the Associate Director and DirectorConducting other work related to the implementation and maintenance of clinical research studiesOccasional brief remote weekend work (participant phone calls <10 minutes)Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of a Bachelors' degreeWilling to be certified for phlebotomy(2) year commitmentPreferred Qualifications:CITI GCP/HSR certificationsInterest or experience in human subjects research.
