Job Summary: The Research Support Assistant will provide project support by facilitating project goals and objectives for Knight Research (Institute of Behavioral Research). This job is 10-20 hrs/week, temporary position, and requires the successful applicant reside in or near one of the geographic areas where research activities are being conducted in Chillicothe, MO or Vandalia, MO.
Duties & Essential Job Functions:
Required Education & Experience: • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. • 1 plus year of experience with customers, patients, or clients.
Preferred Education & Experience: • Bachelor's Degree Required • Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training: None

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office. • Ability to maintain strong organizational systems to manage multiple tasks and data requirements with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically, respond appropriately to sensitive situations to encourage participant engagement and trust. • Ability to convey information clearly, accurately, and professionally to diverse audiences. • Capacity to listen actively and adapt communication style to the needs of individuals.

Physical Requirements (With or Without Accommodations): • Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information. • Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication. • Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions. • Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling, lifting/moving items up to 10 lbs. and times of prolonged sitting.
