The Research Technician will contribute to NIH-funded studies focused on innate immune responses during Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection, with particular emphasis on immunometabolism and host pathogen interactions in the lung. Working closely with the Principal Investigator and laboratory members, the individual will perform experimental procedures using immunological and cell biology techniques including flow cytometry, ELISA, immune cell isolation and culture, and tissue processing to support ongoing research activities.

The position will also support mouse colony management and infection model studies, including breeding, genotyping, and animal procedures. Additional responsibilities include organizing experimental data, procurement, maintaining laboratory inventory and compliance documentation, and contributing to the refinement and optimization of laboratory protocols and workflows. The role is well-suited to a detail-oriented individual seeking to further develop research experience in immunology, microbiology, and infectious disease research within a collaborative academic laboratory environment.
