Einstein/Resnick - Bronx, New York
About Us:
The laboratory of Dr. Ian Willis is seeking a highly motivated research technician to support basic research and preclinical studies of gene expression and protein function using engineered mouse models with enhanced health span or neurodegenerative disease. The work is focused on the RNA polymerase (Pol) III system, its production of RNA molecules at the center of the Central Dogma of Molecular Biology and the health and disease impacts of mutations in this machinery. We employ genetics, biochemistry, cell and molecular biology and omics technologies in mouse models to understand disease pathogenesis and to test potential therapeutic approaches aimed at improving patient care and enhancing health.
