Performs general operationalassistance in the laboratory. This person will assist in day-to-day laboratoryfunctions under direct supervision including experiment execution, recordkeeping, order placement and tracking, maintaining lab equipment, andpreparation of shared laboratory reagents.

One year of lab experience or collegelevel science courses.
Ability to communicate effectively,both written and verbally.
Ability to use a PC or Mac computerand Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
To create instruction material,reports and equipment brochures.
Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
Familiarity with the operations ofbasic laboratory equipment; ability to troubleshoot minor malfunctions of scientificequipment holdings.
Excellent record keeping and filemaintenance skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work with mice on a dailyto weekly basis.
Proficient in working with databases.
Ability to work on projects under thesupervision of the PI.
