The Research technician III will support the organization and analysis of historical materials for a one-year, part-time appointment (max 20 hours per week). Responsibilities include conducting primary and secondary source research, assisting in processing and cataloging archival collections, digitizing documents, and assisting with the maintenance of databases and finding aids. This position will collaborate with staff to ensure proper preservation practices and may contribute to reports, exhibits, or publications based on archival holdings. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle delicate materials with care are essential. Candidates should have a background in history, library science, or a related field, along with demonstrated research and writing abilities.
