A Brief Overview
This entry-level research technical role participates in a planned research projects by performing research protocols, experimental procedures and other laboratory tasks under direct supervision. May occasionally exercise minimal discretion and judgment in execution and interpretation of experiments, and of data derived.
The Pluripotent Stem Cell (PSC) Core within the Center for Cellular and Molecular Therapeutics at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking a highly motivated Research Technician II. This position provides hands-on support for core services involving human pluripotent stem cells, including iPSC culture, differentiation workflows, and CRISPR-based gene editing, in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be exceptionally detail-oriented, organized, and committed to thorough documentation to support reproducibility and core operations.
This role will focus on routine maintenance and expansion of PSC/iPSC lines, execution of differentiation workflows as needed, and participation in CRISPR gene editing and downstream screening/validation support. Strong note-taking, sample tracking, and organizational skills are essential.

$43,900.00 - $54,800.00 Annually
