Target hiring range for this position will be between $21.48-$28.99 per hour. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Research Technologist with a strong background in bioinformatics and transcriptomics. The successful candidate will work closely with wet scientists in analyzing transcriptomics data related to RNA metabolism and therapeutics in human disease. The candidate will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, leveraging computational tools to solve complex biological questions related to RNA modifications and protein synthesis.
Specific Responsibilities:

Miscellaneous
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelors or higher degree in a scientific major with strong bioinformatics background; OR appropriate combination of education and experience and 3 years of relevant experience; OR
Successful completion of a full course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a masters or higher degree in bioinformatics or data science with at least 1 year of research experience in bioinformatics.

Proficiency in Python and R
Bash/Unix/Linux shell
