The Department of Biomedical Engineering is seeking a Research Technologist to perform laboratory tasks, routine assays, and develop novel therapeutics using advanced cellular models.
- Perform experiments, run tests, and troubleshoot assays following established protocols.
- Gain skills in techniques, set-up experiments, and collect data.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, monitor supplies, and train users.
- Establish and characterize cell culture systems, especially iPSCs, and develop organoid cultures.
- Support therapeutic discovery with cell-based assays and differentiation protocols.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Biology, Chemistry, or related; preferred Master’s, extensive iPSC experience, cell culture skills, and knowledge of cellular assays. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills required.
Salary ranges from $15.70 - $26.25/hr, full-time, M-F, based on experience. Located on the School of Medicine Campus.
