The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) seeks a researcher to answer practical questions about how to make roads safer. The position may be based in Arlington or Ruckersville, Virginia, and is eligible for up to 50% telework.
This role is for someone who wants to develop and lead applied research that can influence what agencies, communities, and practitioners do next. A researcher in this position will lead projects, work with external partners, publish findings and help build the evidence base for reducing injuries and fatalities on our roadways.
We are interested in candidates with experience in either of the following:

Must be authorized or able to obtain authorization to work full-time in the U.S. Position not eligible for IIHS-HLDI-sponsored work visa.
Level and title will be commensurate with experience. Candidates with substantial experience may be considered for senior-level positions.
