The Resident Hall Director (RD) is responsible for the administration of one or more residence halls housing between 200 and 450 students and actively supports the Department''s mission by making them inviting, intellectual, and inclusive communities. The RD supervises 12 Resident Assistants. The RD shares in a weekly living area on-duty rotation and the departmental recess duty rotation. The RD is responsible for a specialty area (i.e. programming, staff development, or administrative) and is the liaison for this area for all student and professional staff in their living area.
