Position Title Residence Life - Student Facilities Assistant - Custodial Student Status Work Study Optional -You are not required to be a Federal Work Study Recipient to hold this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.

Department/Employer Operating Hours Monday-Friday - 8:00am-4:30pm How many hours per week are required? 20/week Description of Primary Duties

Custodial

• Clean buildings, furnishings, carpet and upholstery within assigned areas to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, etc.
• Trash and recycling removal
• Use the proper cleaning agent for each assigned task
• Assist with cleaning outdoor areas such as loading docks, verandas, etc.
• Other duties, as assigned

Moving Crew

• Assist with delivery of supplies or equipment using hand trucks, carts, or University vehicles
• Move, assemble, and set-up furniture in student rooms, lounges, offices, and other areas
• Arrange and coordinate furniture placement to best utilize space in rooms and in storage
• Assist with inventory review and documentation
• Pack and store student belongings due to improper check-out or lost and found
• Other duties, as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Good Communication, public relations, and customer service skills
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record and a valid driver's license (Moving Crew)
• Must be detail-oriented, punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English sufficiently enough to understand verbal and written instruction
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand for long periods of time, and climb ladders/stairs
• Ability to work as a team
• Prioritize time and tasks to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
