Residency Coordinator

Overview: The entity Residency Coordinator reports to the Director Clinical Practice and is responsible for fostering the enculturation of the nurse resident through delivery of onboarding programs and by promoting the resident-preceptor-manager triad. Directs, coordinates, and delivers the educational components of the various nurse on-boarding programs. Partners with preceptors, unit-based educators, and unit leaders to identify opportunities for development and foster open communication to foster growth. Fosters relationships with resident TAM recruiters and local academic partners to strengthen academic-entity relationships. • Bachelor’s Degree of Science of Nursing from an accredited school of nursing Required
• Master’s degree Preferred

Work Experience

• 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting Required
• 1 year in delivering training to clinical staff/students Required

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
• National certification in field of specialty Preferred
