Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, the Residency Coordinator I reviews applications for resident classification, including but not limited to, non-resident tuition waivers, HB 102, HB 144 and WUE, nonresident tuition waivers, and Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) eligibility to determine student residency status. This position provides guidance and training on Utah residency policies and procedures, responds to residency-related inquiries, maintains residency records and documentation, and coordinates with the Utah System of Higher Education and internal college partners on residency matters.
Process residency applications, admit and update Banner residency coding. Coordinate with other departments and campus partners such as Veteran Services, Dream Center, Summer Bridge and Athletics to provide outreach efforts to SLCC students.
