TotalCare Assisted Living is seeking dedicated, dependable, and compassionate Resident Assistants/Caregivers to join our growing team. We have Full-Time and Float Positions available at our assisted living communities in New Hope, Golden Valley, and Robbinsdale.

Available Shifts\n

• Day Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• \n
• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• \n
• Weekend availability as needed
• \n

Responsibilities\n

As a Resident Assistant, you will:

\n

• \n
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, bathing, and mobility.
• \n
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• \n
• Assist with medication reminders as directed.
• \n
• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition.
• \n
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• \n
• Support residents during meals and activities.
• \n
• Follow individualized care plans and facility policies.
• \n
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• \n
• Ensure resident dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
• \n

QualificationsRequired\n

• \n
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience.
• \n
• Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation.
• \n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• \n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• \n
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
• \n

Preferred\n

• \n
• CPR Certification (optional)
• \n
• Medication administration (optional)
• \n
• Experience working in Assisted Living, Home Care, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care settings.
• \n
