**Job Description:**
As a Resident Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will work under the supervision of our healthcare team to provide personalized care and support with daily living activities. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals in our community.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health, behavior, and needs to the nursing team.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Participate in recreational activities and encourage resident engagement.
- Document care activities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a caregiving role or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and physical examination.
