Resident Care Assistant - Midnights (Part time)

Rivercrest Place Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and dependable team member to provide high-quality support to residents during overnight hours. In this role, you will help create a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment while assisting with daily living needs and responding promptly to resident requests. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful work, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and respectful support to residents during the overnight shift.
• Assist with personal care needs in accordance with individual care plans and established procedures.
• Respond to resident call lights, requests, and concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and other routine activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the shift.
• Monitor resident well-being and report changes, concerns, or incidents to the appropriate team members.
• Document care activities and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow safety, infection control, and privacy guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with nursing and other care team members to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing respectful care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow care plans, policies, and safety procedures.
• Dependable and able to work overnight hours consistently.
• Ability to manage physical tasks associated with resident support.
• Basic computer or documentation skills preferred.
• Previous experience in a care, healthcare, or support setting is helpful, but not required.
