Compensation

$16.00 – $19.00/hour, based on experience


What You’ll Do

As a Resident Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our Residents feel safe, supported, and valued. Responsibilities include:

  • Responding promptly to call bells and intercom systems to meet resident needs
  • Assisting Residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Supporting mobility by transporting Residents or assisting with walking
  • Recording vital signs and care information in PointClickCare (PCC)
  • Administering, reordering, and monitoring medication as needed
  • Collecting specimens as directed by nursing staff
  • Assisting with scheduling appointments and coordinating transportation
  • Maintaining cleanliness in Resident rooms and shared spaces while following infection control standards
  • Communicating effectively during shift changes to ensure continuity of care
  • Observing and reporting any changes in Resident condition, including skin, medical, or behavioral concerns
  • Engaging Residents in Therapeutic Engagement opportunities, including Linked Senior
  • Supporting and mentoring new Nursing Assistants and Resident Care Assistants

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Care experience is preferred! 
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping others

Schedule & Hours

  • Part-Time: 8-24 hours/week
  • Full-Time: 36–40 hours per week
  • Day and Evening shifts available 
  • Includes every other weekend and every other holiday
