Resident Care Associate (RCA) / Caregiver - Freedom Village Holland
Currently Hiring: Part‑Time • 1st Shift (6am-2pm)
Pay: $14.50-$15.00/hr (base rate)
Sign‑On Bonus: $2,000 PT / $3,500 FT
Shift Differentials: +$3.00/$5.00 (2nd/3rd shifts)

About the Role
- Assist licensed nursing staff with activities of daily living
- Support residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, eating, and mobility
- Provide routine care to promote independence and dignity
- Serve as a stepping‑stone to becoming a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
- Freedom Village pays for CNA classes + state testing through MTEC
- Guaranteed promotion and pay increase once certified
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, positioning, and exercising
- Perform basic treatments, tests, and procedures as instructed
- Record observations and care provided
- Transfer, transport, and escort residents
- Answer call lights promptly
- Change linens, make beds, and maintain clean resident rooms
- Maintain safe and sanitary work areas
- Encourage independence and participation in activities
- Attend in‑service training and education sessions
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior geriatric experience preferred
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to document care accurately
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic
