The company seeks energetic people with the potential to perform and the ability to strengthen—and thrive—in its positive work environment.What you will be doing:Monitor product quality at customer plant, including where applicable audits, repair, and on-hold vehiclesInitially analyze all quality/design/logistics concerns and inform proper USOEM BU project team member for corrective actionsInitiate root cause analysis process for identified quality issues using Global Quality Reporting System (GQRS)Complete and submit Quality Authorized Rework (AR) packages to kick‑off reworkAssist in production trial runsObtain Part Submission Warrant (PSW) functional approval as requiredMaintain supply of repair parts/materialsProvide assistance with repairs at the customer site as neededReconcile Parts per Million (PPM)'s with customer contactsCustomer In-Plant Continuous Improvement InitiativesImplement initiatives defined by Customer and USOEM BU team membersParticipate in vehicle reviews, line audits, process reviews and provide a summary of the initiatives for the project teamAttend plant warranty meetings and presentations and arrange for appropriate USOEM BU personnel to report top warranty issues as requiredCommunication ActivitiesAttend on-site customer meetings and report on USOEM BU issues as requiredProvide affiliate and project team with reject notificationsNotify US OEM BU Warranty Analyst of customer plant requests to expedite analysis of warranty parts returnMaintain issues tracking in GQRS for Quality and monitor issues in Business Engineering Application Management System (BEAMS) for EngineeringEnsure issue closure with all affected partiesDevelop and maintain relationships with key customer personnelArrange for USOEM BU management support of customer meetings (e.g., monthly IQ) if requiredMeet with Customer Engineering and Incoming Quality organization weekly or as required to set/review prioritiesPerform and distribute results of returnable inventory verification from each of the applicable customer facilities twice per year if required by customerParticipate in program team meetings as appropriateRelay engineering issues to the appropriate engineer and follow through resolutionLaunch SupportAssist the launch team with supporting builds and attend customer launch issue reviews and drive issues to closureAssist the launch team with reviewing product readinessWhat you will bring to the table:Associate's degree or diploma in quality engineering, electrical engineering, or related fieldExperience in assessment of quality issues, implementation of containment activities and root‑cause analysis problem‑solving techniquesAbility to work full time on‑sitePreferred: Manufacturing experience and experience in automotive launch of electrical distribution systemsWhat we can provide you:A glimpse of your potentialHands‑on, practical experienceDirect exposure to and guidance from industry expertsOpportunities to expand your professional networkA supportive and secure environment for learningCompetitive compensationYazaki North America is committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, marital status, national origin, disability, handicap, veteran status, or other legally protected status or characteristic.
