McKinley is seeking an experienced and adaptable Resident Experience Lead Floaterto provide temporary coverage and operational support across multiple communities within an assigned portfolio. This is a mobile high-impact role designed for strong performers who thrive in dynamic environments and can step in seamlessly during staffing gaps, peak leasing periods, or site transitions.
The Resident Experience Lead performs all Resident Experience Associate duties while serving as a steady leadership presence and McKinley brand ambassador at every community they support.
Position: Resident Experience Lead Location: In-Person Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, multi-site coverage Compensation: $53,000 plus bonus potential
Key Responsibilities: • Perform all Resident Experience Associate duties across multiple communities within the assigned portfolio • Float between sites to provide leasing resident experience and operational support as needed • Quickly adapt to site-specific workflows, team dynamics, and performance expectations • Uphold McKinley brand standards and resident experience expectations at all locations • Support onboarding training and knowledge-sharing for Resident Experience Coordinators and Associates • Assist communities during high-volume leasing periods, staffing shortages, and special initiatives • Maintain consistent communication with site leadership and regional teams to ensure alignment and continuity • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of McKinley systems, processes, and policies • Model professionalism, accountability, flexibility, and leadership in all interactions • Adhere to Fair Housing laws, company policies, and all compliance requirements • Maintain flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and travel within the portfolio
Qualifications: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in leadership, sales, collections, or customer service Property management experience strongly preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to respond effectively to residents, team members, and leadership Proven problem-solving skills in environments with limited standardization Solid understanding of Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunity laws Strong math skills, including working with percentages, ratios, and basic financial concepts Ability to understand and follow safety rules and procedures Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: Regular work in outdoor weather conditions Physical on-site attendance required for all scheduled shifts Moderate noise level in typical work environments Frequent standing, walking, stair climbing, and use of hands and arms Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds Vision abilities, including close distance, peripheral, and depth perception
