Stonehaven Apartments is seeking a Resident Services & AR Collections Specialist to support both the resident experience and rent collections efforts at our community.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling accounts receivable, delinquent accounts, and payment plan discussions-while still providing excellent customer service.
Because we are a small office team, this position also includes some leasing support as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Post rent payments and fees accurately and daily
- Monitor resident accounts, balances, and delinquency
- Communicate with residents regarding outstanding balances and negotiate payment plans
- Execute consistent collections strategies to reduce delinquency
- Prepare late notices and collection-related correspondence
- Maintain detailed records of all collection activity
- Process invoices and assist with accounts payable coordination
- Answer phones, assist residents, and support general office operations
- Assist with leasing inquiries, tours, and follow-up as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in property management, accounts receivable, or collections
- Experience handling delinquent accounts and payment arrangements preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
