    About the Role
    As a Resident Service Associate, you'll be the friendly face and helpful resource for prospective and current residents. From assisting with leasing activities to ensuring a smooth move-in experience, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming community and supporting property success.

    This role will be split between two neighboring communities: Portofino Place East (416 Units) and Portofino Place West (396 Units).

    What You'll Do
    Below is a snapshot of what this role is all about. While there is more to it, this is the core focus.

    Leasing Support
    • Assist with qualifying prospects and preparing lease paperwork.
    • Conduct virtual tours and prepare move-in packets.
    • Verify application details and forward for approval.
    Customer Service
    • Respond to resident inquiries and maintenance requests.
    • Support rent collection and renewal processes.
    • Make welcome and follow-up calls to residents.
    Property Upkeep
    • Inspect common areas and vacant units for cleanliness.
    • Coordinate with maintenance for unit readiness.
    • Open and close models and amenities daily.
    Marketing & Compliance
    • Support marketing activities and surveys.
    • Participate in required training and ensure compliance with laws and company standards.

    What We're Looking For
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Valid driver's license is required.
    • Minimum of one year experience in a customer service, sales, or retail position.
    • Previous leasing/customer service experience preferred.
    • Experience using Yardi or other property management accounting software preferred.
    • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Strong typing skills.
    • Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations.
    • Understanding of applicable federal, state and local fair housing laws.
    • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills.
    • Detail oriented; ability to manage conflicting priorities and to adjust priorities on a daily basis.
