Job Overview:
Riley Crossing senior living community located in Chanhassen, MN near Hwy 101 and County Road 212. Opened in 2019, it hosts 134 units of Independent, Assisted Living, Enhanced and Memory Care in total. This location also offers on-site intergenerational child care and interactive programming with our seniors.
This Resident Services Coordinator I provides a wide range of administrative support to the nursing dept and maintains the nursing staffing schedule for the community located in Chanhassen, MN.
This part-time schedule includes:
- 40 hours per two week pay period
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed
Responsibilities
Maintain nursing staffing schedule for community:
- Updates master nursing schedules as needed.
- Communicates staffing schedule changes.
- Communicates to Director of Health Services (DHS) open blocks/positions.
- Posts the daily schedule in a common area/space.
- Determines PPL eligibility and in consultation with the DHS approves or denies based on community policy.
- Determines staffing needs/open shifts.
- Communicates open shifts and takes necessary steps to fill shifts promptly.
- Approves/denies employees schedule trades.
- Notifies DHS of status changes and permanent schedule change request.
- Document attendance/tardiness reports, notifying DHS of individuals requiring disciplinary action.
- Participates in on-call staffing rotation (if applicable)
Coordinates Administrative functions:
- Assists DHS with E-Time (Payroll) for nursing dept employees.
- Assists DHS in tracking education compliance to ensure that all documentation is in place (Educare, supervisory visits)
- Assists DHS with scheduling new employee interviews
- If applicable, may assist with new hire paperwork
- Assists with new hire personnel file set up
- Coordinates Resident Communication
- Schedules care conferences
- Maintains Resident Directories
- Coordinates providers that come on-site for services such as podiatry and physicians.
- Assists DHS with resident correspondence
Other duties as assigned:
- Works as Resident Assistant (RA) upon request of building leadership (

Required Qualifications
- One to Three Years
- MS office
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree
- Previous experience working with Eldermark and Educare
- Health Unit Coordinator training
Qualifications:
$21.84- $30.83 Hourly
