Job Description

Min: USD $17.23/Hr. Max: USD $19.23/Hr. Position Overview:

The Residential Aide will work under the supervision of the Program Director and provide shift coverage, with possibility of flexible, rotating shift schedule, and weekend coverage.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor participant safety and safety of the premises
  • Conduct facility runs to ensure security, safety and program standards are maintained
  • Disseminate pertinent information to the participants
  • Monitor surveillance system
  • Write incident reports
  • Document hourly observations of the premises in log book
  • Attend training as assigned
  • Other duties as requested by supervisor
Qualifications:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience working with people experiencing homelessness in congregate setting
  • Experience in de-escalation
  • Knowledge of AWARDS, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience providing excellent customer service

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
