Residential Aide/Direct Support Professional (DSP) $20+/hr

Our client is seeking Residential Aides for the Mental Health Adult Population in Camden County.

CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS
Mon & Sat (Week 1), Sun & Fri (Week 2), 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Mon–Fri, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (every other weekend: Mon & Sat, Sun & Fri) in Berlin, NJ
Compensation: $20.00+ per hour

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide support that will enhance individuals' quality of life.
* Implement specialized programs in areas of communication, socialization and behavior management.
* Assist with and teach independent living skills.
* Assist with activities of daily living and personal self-care such as toileting, eating, grooming, bathing and dressing.
* Accompany participants to various community activities.
* Maintain cleanliness of homes and ensures a healthy living environment for participants.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
* Minimum 4 years of experience working with the mental health population
* Resume and 2 supervisor references required
* Official transcript required (only accepted format)
* Ability to complete and satisfactorily pass given background checks
* Preventing Abuse and Neglect, Medication Training, CPR / FA, TB/Physical
* Required Valid Driver's License & at least 21yr. Old
* Need to complete extra CDS trainings.
