As our Residential Appliance Field Service Specialist, you’ll combine hands-on mechanical skill with exceptional people skills to keep households operating smoothly across Dekalb, IL.

What You'll Do

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose and repair major household appliances, including refrigerators, ovens, washers, and dryers.
• Guide customers through findings and repair options with clear, friendly communication and top-tier service.
• Complete routine maintenance and safety checks to sustain peak appliance performance.
• Document work performed, parts used, and customer interactions with accuracy.
• Stay current on emerging appliance technologies, tools, and repair methods.
• Work independently, organizing your day to meet customer needs efficiently.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in appliance repair is a plus.
• Hands-on experience as an appliance repair technician or in a closely related field.
• Sharp troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities with solid problem-solving judgment.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.
• Self-directed with excellent time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Comfort lifting and maneuvering heavy appliances and performing manual tasks safely.
• EPA Type 1
